My Religion

Leo Tolstoy

In My Religion, Leo Tolstoy strips away church dogma to reveal the radical heart of Jesus’ teachings. After a profound spiritual crisis, the author of War and Peace concludes that "Resist not evil" is a literal mandate for life, not an abstract ideal. This bold work rejects institutional ritual in favor of five practical commandments to end violence, war, and inequality. A foundational text for Christian pacifism, it offers a rational, urgent guide to finding peace through universal love.
