Jane Eyre: An Autobiography

Charlotte Brontë (1816–1855) was a pioneering English novelist whose fiercely independent heroines forever changed the landscape of Victorian literature. Raised in relative isolation at the Haworth Parsonage on the windswept Yorkshire moors, she and her siblings constructed rich, elaborate fantasy worlds to escape their bleak surroundings.
