The Interactive Web Reader
The web reader is the primary way to read books on MyInteractiveBook. When you open a book, you will see:
- Table of Contents — A sidebar listing all chapters and sections. Click any entry to jump directly to it.
- Reading toolbar — Controls for font size, line height, spacing, theme toggle (light/dark), bookmarks, search, and the AI chatbot.
- Chapter navigation — Previous/Next buttons at the bottom of each chapter to move between chapters.
Text Selection Tools
Select any text in the reader to reveal a floating toolbar with options to:
- Clarify — Get an AI explanation of the selected passage.
- Translate — Translate the selection into another language.
- Listen — Hear the text read aloud with word-by-word karaoke highlighting.
- Highlight — Save a colored highlight with an optional note.
- Share — Share the quote on social media or generate a citation image.
Keyboard Shortcuts
Press Ctrl+K to open the in-book search. Use arrow keys or swipe to navigate pages.
