Spoiler Protection
The AI assistant is only told what you have actually read. While protection is on, it will not summarise later chapters, reveal a character's fate, or answer a question that depends on text beyond your current position.
Turning It On or Off
- For one conversation — Use the spoiler toggle in the chat menu. It is on by default.
- For your whole account — Set the default in Profile → Reading → Spoiler protection.
- For one book — Override the account default on that book alone.
When a question cannot be answered without a spoiler, the assistant says so instead of guessing.
Cross-Book AI
By default a conversation is grounded in the book you are reading. Cross-book scope widens it to a genre or to your whole library, so you can compare how several authors treat one theme, or ask where else a passage appears.
How to Use It
- Open the chat menu in the reader.
- Turn on cross-book scope.
- Choose the range: this book, a genre, or everything you can access.
- Ask as usual — answers then cite which book each passage came from.
Cross-book search is a Scholar feature.
