Biography

Priest, researcher, and academic (contemporary). Father Nema Saliba is a pastor in the Greek Orthodox Church, and is active in social and religious dialogue. He is known for his pastoral presence in the Parish of Saints Peter and Paul in Hazmieh, and for his academic efforts that integrate theology and sociology. His research and approach explore the challenges of the family and the intersections of religion and civil society within the complex Lebanese context, drawing from the legacy of renewal and openness of the Orthodox Youth Movement. His contributions include an in-depth academic study titled "Civil Marriage in the Lebanese Religious Context," alongside his diligent work in providing spiritual guidance to married couples.
